Owner's Story
When the Cayman Islands introduced the Economic Substance Act in 2019, Alastair saw a need—and acted fast. He started Artemis Advisory to help businesses meet these new rules without stress. Today, he leads the way in offering easy, effective Economic Substance solutions for investment managers, finance and leasing companies, holding companies, and banks.
Alastair has over 22 years of experience in investment management. Before starting Artemis Advisory, he was head of investment management at FFP Advisors. He also worked at FTI Consulting, where he helped launch and manage a U.S.-registered investment firm.
A Career Built on Global Experience
Earlier in his career, Alastair spent 11 years working with a large family office in the Cayman Islands, managing a mix of direct investments and fund investments. He also focused on keeping the portfolio balanced and low-risk.
He began his journey in London, working at Rathbone Group and later at Rothschild Bank, where he managed money for some of Europe’s wealthiest families.

Alastair is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in London and an active member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association. He’s also a certified Director in Canada and is registered with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.
Meet Shane
Shane is a finance pro who brings energy, skill, and a strong work ethic to the team at Artemis Advisory.
Before joining us, he worked at MUFG as a private equity fund accountant. There, he handled client requests, managed cash movements, and prepared financial reports. Shane is detail-focused and always ready to solve problems.
He also worked at PwC as an audit associate, where he checked financial statements and reviewed business controls. Earlier, he supported finance work at OneView Healthcare.
Shane is working toward his ACCA qualification (8 out of 13 exams passed!) and holds a degree in Business & Management from Technological University Dublin. He’s known for being a clear communicator and a fast learner.
Outside of work, Shane enjoys running, swimming, and scuba diving.
